TRH Bar

A quick rendezvous at Montreal’s TRH-Bar after tonight’s work Christmas party to see these beautiful blacklit urinals. It’s been 4 years since I was here last, great to see it’s still standing strong. I was definitely the only person in the bar wearing a suit & bow tie.

See the first visit I made to TRH Bar here back in 2015

C’s Bar

During my quest to source a list of interesting restrooms across Shanghai, I came across an establishment simply named C’s Bar. It’s a university pub southwest of the city centre and as a fan of dirty, gritty, graffiti-covered dive bars, I must say this was one of the best I’ve ever been to. Get a load of these filthy restrooms:

Here’s a gallery of pics from around the rest of the bar to give you an idea of how it looked. I visited on a quiet night with only 5-6 people in attendance which gave me the perfect opportunity to explore its dark, tainted hallways.

I would 100% drink here again.

Storm Crow Manor

Any DC fans out there? How about this for the first colourful loo I’ve come across so far in 2019 at Storm Crow Manor, billed as the nerdiest bar in Canada.

They also have a toilet catacomb in their basement:

Dan from Toilography dropped by Cricketers Arms and The Midnight Special in Sydney to see two of the cities coolest graffitied washrooms!

The toilets next to the rowdy beer garden at Cricketers Arms, Surry Hills, were truly a sight to behold:

In the middle of Sydney’s Newtown is the Midnight Special, a lively & fun neighbourhood bar with an emphasis on good food, drink and live blues/rock music. Named after the 1934 Lead Belly tune, the restrooms here are just as rock ‘n’ roll as the song:

Dan from Toilography went to Embassy Bar in Toronto’s Kensington Market, a bohemian area renowned for its street art. The words of wisdom graffitied onto these washroom walls certainly didn’t disappoint.
